The IIM Indore will start the registration process for the CAT 2026 examinations on August 3 2026 at 10:00 AM and will go on until September 15 2026 at 5:00 PM.

CAT 2026 Exam Registration Fee
Candidates must pay the fee online while submitting the registration form for CAT 2026 examination on the official portal. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI mode. The fee is non-refundable and payable only once.

CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks for General and NC-OBC candidates.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates
- Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
- There is no upper age limit for appearing in CAT 2026.

CAT 2026 Exam Day Schedule
The CAT 2026 examination will be conducted in 3 computer-based test (CBT) sessions across nearly 170 cities. Candidates will be allotted one of these sessions for the exam.

CAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The paper is expected to include a mix of MCQs and TITA questions, with negative marking applicable for wrong MCQ answers. CAT 2026 exam will be conducted as a CBT mode in English. The examination consists of three sections
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)
The total examination duration is 120 minutes, with 40 minutes allotted for each section. The examination is expected to be conducted in three sessions across multiple cities in India.
