The supplementary examinations have been conducted on July 28, 2026, for the students of Science, Commerce, and Arts streams who had to appear for the second time to clear a subject or upgrade their marks. The results are a sigh of relief for lakhs of students. As the board declared an increase in the compartment pass percentage this year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced results for more than 2.75 lakh students who had appeared for the compartment paper for one or more subjects in the original Class 12 board exams. Of these, 53.08 percent passed the exams, compared to 38.36 percent who passed the 2025 supplementary exams.

The original CBSE class 12 result 2026 was released on 13th May 2026. Moreover, girls have overtaken boys in the class 12 results this year. Whereas the pass percentage overall was 85.20 percent, girls scored 88.86 percent, and boys got 82.13 percent.
